The New Pool!

No, we didn't put in a pool! The incentive check doesn't stretch that far! This was an $8 special from the local dollar store. The girls loved it!
Oh and this is my new deck furniture. Nothing special, but finally a decent place to sit! Yay Target!

The pool was quite cold (hose water). Duh! I have a hot water faucet in the garage! Oh well, next time.

Olivia is loudly telling me something

Evie didn't mind the cold water at all. She had a blast with the sprinkling cans!

Sophie got used to the water quickly too. I love how her eyes are closed in this picture!

Then at night I met up with some great support friends for supper. What would I do with out fellow multiple moms who "just know!" I love you Jenn and Beth! We missed you Anna and Christy!

Memorial Day Weekend

Ah summer is here and we are back at the cottage! The girls probably don't remember it from last year, but they loved it all over again! We had two amazing days there (Saturday & Monday)!

We learned...
They need to be separated for naps (2 bedrooms and a bathroom all taken up with pack-n-plays)
Olivia doesn't like to ride in a boat when tired (but will fall asleep if she cries long enough)
They love Great Aunt Diane because she gives them yummy sweet desserts!
They still love playing in the water
This is so much better than last year (for me!)
I have to pack a lot of stuff just to spend the day (We start packing the night before)
It seems like I unpack even more when we get home & I am exhausted!
It's all worth it!

To pause the slide show and read the captions, just move your cursor over the picture. It will stop for you! Enjoy!

Play Ball!

Last Monday the girls and I went to Brad's softball game. They had a ton of fun and were very good! We had some near misses when Olivia started practicing with a REAL bat! All in all, a fun but busy time! Oh, and Daddy won!

The New Playground

Yay! It's finally done! Brad has to do everything to perfection, so the simple task of putting up a swing-set wasn't so simple! I must admit, he outdid himself though! It looks great and the girls love it! Now every morning Olivia says "fwing?" (swing)
Too bad it's freezing out again!

This is Olivia on the slide. She got a little camera shy, so Brad helped her.

Oh come on... It's a soft landing!

Yard Work

I was just thinking to myself, "How lucky are we? We can do yard work and the girls just watch or play by the house. They never go in the road, and we don't have to worry much. Every once in awhile we go check on them, and then back to work."

Then Evie comes walking up the hill from behind the house with a new stuffed animal friend...

Hand-Sanitizer anyone? I have no idea where she found this dead bunny, but she thought she had quite the prize!

Even Sophie thinks it's a little gross

Olivia our little helper-

Sarah stopped by just as the bunny made its appearance.

Pinwheels from Papa

So we are losers and never made it to Tulip Time, but this is good enough for the girls (Tulips at Grandmas)

Papa gave us pinwheels from the Pharmacy. It provided hours of fun and wonder!

Brad Junior

Could they be any more alike?

This is "Bigga-Ball" I bought it at the dollar store one day. Olivia has not put it down since. Although it is only limited to the outdoors. Yes it is a "Big Ball." She tells us every minute.

I forgot to tell you all that Evie went to the doctor that day and she said it was Allergies, not Pink Eye.  I would have guessed Pink Eye.  Well, it turns out it was Pink Eye or something contagious after all because Olivia has it now.
