Sleep Positions

Sleeping with her hands in her pants... Where do you suppose she got that from? (Notice the duct tape on the diaper? Yes, they all have to be duct taped now. Otherwise in the morning I open the door to three naked babies. At least now they have diapers on!)

I just love watching them sleep at night in different positions. Most the time they are on their backs, but Sophie curls up and sleeps on her side a lot too.

Arms out & knee up, that is so Brad too!

Before the Vacation... Packing!

The packing was the worst part. Brad was working and I had been writing long lists for days. The time came to get down to it. The organizing of all the stuff wasn't that bad. The hard part was watching the girls while packing piles of stuff in the van. They found their own entertainment...

Sophie covered in diaper rash cream

Olivia cleaning up at the sink

For some odd reason they thought they should "paint" their potty with the cream too!

On a happier note these two girls are really interested in the potty. Sophie peed in the potty for me (stood up in the middle and peed all over, but success none the less)

Ready to go on vacation!

The First Party

We had the girls' first birthday party on Sunday night. We celebrated with my family (plus Gwen). The girls had a ton of fun. The theme (of course there was a theme. I'm a teacher, am I not?) was "Our Angels are Turning 2... They Won't be Angels for Long!" This explains all the angel stuff in the pictures.

Birthday Month

It is officially the girls' birthday month. In true "Fig" (Grandpa) fashion, we will be celebrating all month long!
To begin, the girls are turning two. That has become the number of choice around here.
Olivia knows the quantity of two (i.e. two balls, two spoons, etc.)
Sophie is able to say two and smile.
All are able to count 1, 2, 3... or sometimes 2, 2, 3!
Evie is able to show you how old she is going to be:
