Summer Came for a Little While

The summer weather finally arrived (only to disappear again today). Evie and Olivia went on rides with Papa on his jetski. Evie wanted to go fast and thought it was great. Olivia took some convincing, but eventually agreed to "go slow."

Sophie is ready to swim in the pool with Sarah!

Evie swam all by herself! The girls did this a little in Florida, but we couldn't get them to do it in the lake yet this year. Apparently, they love the pool! All three of them were swimming on their own in no time!

Gracie & Sophie

Evie tried to swim with flippers. She put them on herself, climbed down the ladder, and swam for a few seconds. She eventally decided to swim without the flippers.

Olivia with "Kramer" hair!

The Sprinkler!

I got out the sprinkler and the girls loved it! There is something so enjoyable listening to 3 girls squeal with delight about getting sprayed. Olivia was the most brave, and liked to get right in there. Sophie liked to pretend she was running through it, but she actually started running farther and farther away.

Afterward we enjoyed popsicles in the garage. What a great summer day!

Poor Evie

A Father's Day/Birthday Celebration ends in a head wound.

Evie was playing on the swings and got hit in the head by another swing. She was so brave, and let her Grandma P. mess around with the gash on her head without a tear... until she sprayed NuSkin on it! That burned a little! No stitches, just glued it and steri-stripped it. She is very proud of her wound.

Olivia & Ice Cream

Out for ice cream with friends - It's all fun and games until Olivia falls off the picnic table!

The Pool is Open

Evie has no fear, and she is the first to jump in!

Of course they wanted the slide again, like last year.

Olivia watched from the slider because Brad was mowing the lawn (she dislikes noise), but soon she wanted to join in the fun!

Sophie goes down on her belly

It's a regular occurrence for Sophie to use my chapstick, but this is another story! She got in trouble...

The girls get pedi's from Gwen. Such princesses!

Some Random Silliness

What's the obsession with sitting in trash cans around our house?

Triplet birds left the nest this week

Eating lunch on our deck - so nice!
