Our First Field Trip!

Noah's Ark 4 yr. old preschool went on their first field trip to the Meijer Gardens. They rode the tram around the grounds and learned about trees.
Notice in some photos Sophie has the "lean" going on like her Aunt Chelle :)

My carpool gang. Our friend Anneka is on the far left.

Sophie with Mrs. K.

The girls each get a "helicopter" to throw in the air and plant a new maple tree.

I love this photo :)

The pre-k class

Afterward we were able to stay and play in the children's garden

Sophie with the Chelle Lean again :)

I think this sculpture looks like rock candy :) They have such neat art sculptures around the gardens!

Spider?

"Mom! Mom! There's a big spider in our garage!"
Me - Oh yeah? Why didn't you step on it?
Olivia - Just come look at it!
This is what I found...

That's no spider girls... that's a walking stick! I explained to them that God created them to look like a stick so birds can't find them on a tree and eat them... they were in awe! Honestly, I too was in awe all over again how God has such attention to detail :)

Their First Day of Pre-School!

All ready to go to school! Sporting the new backpacks they got for their birthday.

Hmmm maybe Mom should have watched the weather... they look a little chilly! Good thing school is indoors! Sorry Grandma H. - I failed you :(

The girls get their own locker! How cool!

Mommy is not sad... I'm so excited for them!

The girls all take their turns meeting Mrs. K. and giving her their square for the class quilt.

The dollhouse was a HUGE hit with these triplet girls!!

"Hi, my name is Noah!"

"Hi, I'm Evie"....... Evie has already found a boy.... friend. She likes to hang with the boys. It's cute now, but....

Evie shows her finished star

Sophie works hard on her project

Mrs. K takes pictures of the girls

All smiles!

Mrs K. introduces "Lansing" the bear. He's the classroom mascot that travels with all the kids. Notice the Michigan blanket - Brad will be so happy!

Lansing's mom tries to put him to bed before the first day of school, but he is too excited! What a great story Mrs. K. and Mrs. C.!
