Memorial Day Weekend

We are so blessed to be able to celebrate Memorial Day weekend at my Grandpa's cottage. It is a wonderful place full of memories for me... and now my girls. It's funny how just the smells of the cottage bring back 30 years of wonderful memories!

Saturday the water was a little chilly, but we easily got used to it because it was so hot outside with no breeze!

Sophie had her first pooping accident. Brad made her sit in it for awhile. She wasn't thrilled!

Hot Day at the Park

We went to the park today to meet some great friends. Olivia didn't want her picture taken - Tired and crabby!

"Look Mom! A Big Chicken!"

said Evie with excitement. "That's no chicken, honey!" was my reply.

Seriously, you know you live in an interesting town when you have a peacock walk through your backyard!

Way to Go Sophie!

After months of poo in her underwear, she finally got it! After I made her last accident more "uncomfortable" for her, she realized it would be worth it to listen to me and go poop on the potty. Finally! Hope she keeps it up!

Dandelion Festival

This past weekend we ventured to Borculo for the Dandelion Festival. Brad and I ran in a 5K with Sue and Sarah. I ran it in 26:40, and Brad ran it in... 18 minutes something? He will have to comment below to clarify.

After watching the parade, the girls went on pony rides. They loved it!
