For the Kidz Gymnastics

Today I went to a GR Mothers of Twins Club (GRMOTC) outing. They had a playdate at a gymnastics gym called "For the Kidz."
I also invited my mother-in-law and niece Ella. The girls had a blast!!! We learned that Evie will try anything, and Olivia really should be enrolled in a gymnastics class soon! She was just cruising on the balance beam!

Of course I was in a rush this morning to get there so I forgot my camera - I'm so chapped! There was a nice mother there who took pictures of my girls, and hopefully she emails them to me soon.

In the meantime - these are photos of where we went. No, these are not my kids in the photos.

Lots of trampolines - and no broken bones or bruises!

The Room is Done!

The polka-dots are finally done!

Evie's bed (the top bunk)

Olivia's bed (the bottom bunk) It is higher off the ground, so she gets a guard.

Sophie is in the original room by herself. (I am sad for her.) We have a twin bed for her, but we are saving up for a mattress. Until then she is in a crib that we converted into a toddler day-bed. She loves having her own room, until it's time to go to bed at night. (She is still getting used to being alone.)

Visiting the Greats

On Friday we visited Brad's paternal grandparents. They would hence be the girls' great-grandparents. They always enjoy visiting, playing with their toys, and running the halls with Ella. Great-grandpa & grandma love showing off their triplet great-grandchildren. I think everyone in the joint knows who we are!

Olivia gives Great-Grandpa a "five"

Later, Sophie needed a diaper change so I changed her on the bed. She kept saying, "Great-Grandma's bed"

"It's Foon"

Chelle came over with her girls this past Friday. As we were chatting, Evie started playing with this gray plastic pipe. I explained to Chelle that she has a name for it that I can't figure out. So we asked Evie what she had. She simply replied, "It's foon," in a very nonchalant way. I still have no idea what a "foon" is. I don't even know how to spell it correctly!

Here is Evie posing with her "foon"

Olivia loves to have her picture taken now

All Kinds of New

I'm working on decorating another room for Evie & Olivia in the basement. This is not a finished photo - I have yet to paint small light-pink polka dots on the wall.

I found a Backyardigan's Play-doh set on clearance at Target. It was a huge hit! It was based on a pirate episode that the girls love! I was worried about introducing play-doh, but it turns out they were VERY good with it : )

Evie took a nap in her "big-girl bed" today for the first time! She was thrilled!
