They Notice Each Other

The girls are starting to interact with each other. What a beautiful thing to watch and experience! This is what makes having multiples worth it - seeing them laugh at each other. Evie seems the most aware of her sisters. She likes making them talk, and then giggling about it (Like in the video with Olivia above).

Dome Home

I have to show this picture in honor of Kraig-E-Boy! Evie loves her dome home! She sits and plays in there for days...until she falls over... then she lays and plays for days! Dome homes are great! They are energy efficient, and full of fun activities.

The girls enjoyed their warm day yesterday. What a wonderful feeling to let the breeze blow across their skin. I loved seeing their little rolls on their legs as they played. Ahh, summer! It's almost here!

This is just a cute picture of Olivia and Sophie

Our Morning Routine

(Picture above taken with my laptop camera)

So our mornings usually begin with Sophie talking in her room. She says an array of things from "da-da-da" to "ga-ba-ba." She wakes up the others as a result. So, I get them all out and put them in appropriate baby holders (exersaucers) and change Evie's diaper. She gets fed first because she is usually hungriest. Then after she burps, I move through them consecutively. Sophie is usually last because she is more patient. Then after I get them all fed, I check my email while I wait for them all to poop. Oh, they will! And yes... they all poop. I have to put on their 2nd diapers for that morning. After I wash my hands - well - I make my breakfast. The girls watch me eat with awe! All eyes are on me. It feels very strange. Then, when I am done eating, we all go on the floor and play. By this time they have been upright enough and shouldn't spit up too much. However, Olivia always seems to barf on the floor as she scoots around on her belly. I play and clean up barf until it's time to put them back to bed for their morning nap. Yes, I have not showered yet! That doesn't happen until they are all sleeping (usually by 10:00 or so). It is after my shower that I usually blog.

I'm Back!!!!

It is official! I am back online with wireless Internet, and loving every minute of it! I have to give props to my friend Diane who came over late at night to get my wireless router hooked up for me! She also helped with giving the girls' baths. What a multitasker!

So, yesterday we took our first trip to Target with the triple stroller. Other than the rain (seriously, what was I thinking) it went great! I was pleasantly surprised that people did not try to stop and talk to me or touch the girls! The girls did great - as I expected. They don't get out much, so the stimulation of the store is enough to make them clam up! Sophie did not smile the whole time, but the other two did. I took my mom with me because it was raining, and Aunt Chelle surprised us by joining in. Notice her mug in the picture. The shopping experience was great, however getting the girls loaded in and out of the van into the stroller was not smooth by any means... especially in the rain!

Winkum, Blinkum, & Nod

Here are the 6 month pictures! Aren't they gorgeous? Mom still has her hands full! Thank you to Kari Wieringa for the photography. The girls were SO good this time. Sophie was hamming it up big time.

They already have a hard time focusing! Thank you to Brad's genes. Sophie is actually staring at nothing on the ceiling. She's going to be a smart one!

But seriously, we are truly blessed! What a blast to watch them develop their little personalities. They are so different in the way they look, act, sleep, eat, etc. etc.
