More Danger?!?

I don't want to make fun of SIDS, our old neighbors had their first son die of it, right in his daddy's arms, not in a crib or other reason (made up reason in my mind). Anyway, we think a lot of the precautions are silly when you look at how the belly/back sleep thing has been going back and forth for years, two of our girls LOVE sleeping on their bellies, they have been since they were 2 mo. old. The other loves her face pressed tightly against that awful dangerous crib bumper.

There was some worry on a certain grandma's part at first but when this is what it takes for them to start sleeping throught the night at 3 mo. we figured we'd take it. We put it in God's hands and we, all five of us, got and still get plenty of sleep.

The Loafer looks soooo cozy. I just want to crawl right in that crib.

The acid reflux must be better??

Oh it is getting better. She is funny though, when you lay her in bed at night she lies there all spread-eagle and stares at the ceiling until she falls asleep. Later you find her with her face in such a position

Stacey I agree with you what ever gets them to sleep, so be it. Both Makayla and Noah slept on the stomaches, and once they start rolling over there is no stopping them, they will sleep how the want.

My mom would tell you that after I was born, she held me in the front seat, on the way home from the hospital, I slept on my belly, I had cereal in my bottle and I was eating table foods at 3 months...Brent's pretty old school as well.

Aren't you getting to be quite the frequent blog poster!

I have been in charge of the last few posts. We don't have high speed at home so she can't do it there. She tells me the pictures and basic idea and I ad-lib. I tell her she better check to make sure I didn't do anything wrong but I don't think she does.

Are you kidding? The "Winter Sports Man" slept all over the place. Never saw a kid sit up to roll over before. One would find him in the front corner and ten minutes later he would be on top of any blankets and head up against the foot end of the bed. Give him a few minutes and he would be sideways across the bed.
Do ya think he was playing hockey or something in his sleep? And just look what he turned out to be....
Oh, be very afraid!!!!!!!!

We've been spoiled, Braaad. Where's the new post?

I like to put Evie down with her face by the indentation in the bumperpad so she has a little breathing room. I know I'm nuts but it makes me feel better. I just love those girls!!

I told concerned grandma it don't matter where you put her, she will end up with her face, to the left, and pressed against that bumper.
