Seven Weeks

I have been in the hospital for seven weeks now. As I look back at my time here I reflect:
  • You know, no matter how boring it gets here and how sore I get, it still beats my first trimester when I was horribly sick!
  • The summer of 2006 will always stay in my memory as "The Summer that Wasn't."
  • I have learned how many people care for me as they made the trek(s) up to visit me, sent me cards, sent email, or commented on my blog.
  • I am sick of wearing pajamas! However, I probably have more pajama days ahead of me!
  • No amount of uncomfortable days can stop me from doing whatever I can for my girls! (Even though I sometimes joke about doing jumping jacks in the bathroom to get them out)
Happy summer days!

Stacy- you will be the "Best Mom" ever for going thru this and your girls will love you very much for it. As for pj's -I never liked wearing them either- it made me think I was sick or something. Cheerup- your complete wardrobe awaits you in a few weeks- or sooner.!!

Dear "Fig" We discourage that kind of display in our facility unless medically necessary

Jumping jacks-hmmm- some how I don't think you'll clear much ground ;-) When the girls are 2 you just might wish for a few days in bed. Whew! these two poop me out! They used to play so nice together, I think Carter just likes to hear Ella scream - typical boy! What a fun week! Chin-up, the end is in sight! Real clothes - ooohhhh

Hi Stacey...
I've been reading your blog faithfully, lifting you up in prayer and getting updates from Ross & Bethany in Sunday School for the past 7 weeks. You are such a trooper and have an amazingly upbeat spirit! I am looking forward to seeing photos of your beautiful babies and I cannot wait to hear their names!
Just a little while more to go... God has their birthday picked out - has from the beginning! And I mean, literally, the beginning!

Hey there Stacey....
Wow!!!! You are almost there. You are doing such a wonderful job taking care of those little girls already. Maybe some deep knee bends would push those little puppies out:) Hang in there. You are lovin them every day and giving them such a great start!

Love,
Susan Harrell

I can''t believe you are sick of wearing PJs. You know I would live in them, and practically do! Even thought Bart thinks I'm always dressed up. It is good to hear your deep thoughts today.

"The only thing you know is..." That turned out to be rather prophetic don't you think?

hey Stacey~
I don't know what else to add that won't say what everyone else has already said (except, perhaps, Fig's deleted comment ;), but know that I'm praying for you and can't wait, Lord willing, to see your girls baptized in our church!!!
(three exclamation points for your three girls...cheezy, I know)

Hey Stacey,

Just wanted to let you know I've been thinking of you waiting to see when you'll have the girls. Hang in there you're doing great! I can't wait to meet those girls. I have to say your spirits are great! I think you made my day happier when I saw you in the hospital.

Have you helped the hospital do anymore organizing lately?

Love,
Lisa

Hey Stacy

You are doing great. Those girls are going to have the best Mom ever. Bed is great for now just remember you won't have time to rest after the girls are home. A mom of four I know. It is Gods most precious gift. Our prayers are with you.
