A Weekend with Doug & Melinda

Some friends of the family love our girls, and their grandchildren live a distance away. So now and again when they want some adopt-a-grandchildren, they call us! We are happy to supply the girls for some love and fun! Here is a glimpse of the fun the girls had this past weekend. They flew kites, petted chicks, and talked to ducklings! Along with selling my stuff, I found some great buys at the GR Mothers of Twins Club Garage Sale.
Sophie was quick to try on everything I bought! She even suggested dresses for Olivia and Evie.

I prepared the baskets the night before (But I bought the stuff at the end of Easter last year - now that's preparation!)

I talked with the girls about how it was Easter, and we have fun like on Christmas Day. I tried to explain that Jesus was born on Christmas, and then on Easter He was alive again! They didn't get it of course, but it's just the beginning of many years of teaching : )

Evie gets her hair trimmed for the first time. Just a little to get the fuzz off. I was so scared about cutting some of those curls, but they are still there!
